Capital Airsoft 3vs3 Ladder Match
We are hosting an indoor tournament on Saturday, January 28h, 2012.
This is an all day event, starting at 9AM sharp. Plan to potentially stay until 5 or 6pm if your team wins your matches.
Teams: There are 8 team slots available for 3 person teams.
Objective: Two teams of 3 compete to hold the central flag objective for the longest overall time per match. Each match is 15 minutes. After the first match, the teams switch sides, and play again.
The team with the longest time held at the end of the two matches is the winner. The loser is out of the tournament.
Honor System: 1 hit and you are out. Proceed to the respawn with your kill rag on your head, proclaiming “Dead man walking”. Hand on to the rope in the respawn to revive yourself. It must be held for 10 seconds. Only one person may respawn at a time.
Game Rules:
Ages 12+
Reloading is allowed at spawn point only
No speed loaders allowed outside of spawn point
Dead men don't talk
Always call your hits
NO blind firing
No firing through a hole smaller than your fist
When firing through a window, gun must NOT protrude through the window itself.
When in doubt, call yourself out
Indicate to your team mates if you see they are hit
Never yell at the opposite team to call their hits. If you think you hit them, but they didn't call it, you didn't hit them.
There will be admins on the field, do not shoot admins.
Weapon & Safety Equipment Rules:
Pistols or long arms measuring shorter than 31 inches w/ stock fully open are allowed.
Semi automatic ONLY
350fps maximum, no exceptions
4 pistol magazines, 3 low/midcap magazines, or 1 hicap allowed
Fully sealed ballistic rated goggles only, with strap
Full head to toe protection highly recommended
Tornado grenades only, no ThunderBs or M203s.
NO grenades thrown over walls. They must be thrown through windows, holes, or doorways only.
Gun hits do not count
Disqualifications:
Repeated blind firing
full auto fire
grenades over a roof
not calling hits
inappropriate language or loss of temper towards other players
Guns modified to shoot over 350fps on the field
Outside safezone without protective eyewear
In the case of a disqualification, the team may continue, but the player must leave the premises immediately. No second chances.
1st Place Prize: $100 gift certificate, bag of BBs to EACH team member
2nd Place Prize: $50 gift certificate to EACH team member
Teams must register in advance no later than January 14th, 2012.
Entry fee is $75 per team. This must be paid at time of registration.
