| Yes you can. I'm not sure about all guns but I know you can for Hicapas. Maybe you can get them from KJW directly (I'm assuming thats what you have). | |

| Well I know people who have bought metal receivers outside of Canada. I'm planning on getting one for my m4 and didn't Paul buy one for his AK? | |

| Receivers are considered a replica firearm part and as such CBSA (customs) consider them prohibited and subject to seizure. Now this doesn't mean that some don't get in anyway, CBSA can't check everything, but the seizure rate is about 99.9%. If you decide to do it anyway and it does get seized, you can appeal, but it'll be useless. Your money is gone along with the part and everything you bring in for the next 7 years will be opened and searched by CBSA and if you leave the country, expect a long wait at customs getting back in because you've been flagged. If you use your parents name, they'll go through all this instead of you. | |

| Yes I read up on it last night. The part of the gun with the serial number is really the only part considered a firearm (which on most guns is the lower receiver). So it doesn't matter if its clear plastic or metal it technically is illegal to import. However pistol slides and upper receivers are more likely to get through since they are technically legal to import. Or at least that was my understanding... Correct me if I'm wrong. | |
